libgom-1.0-common software package provides libgom architecture-independent files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgom-1.0-common
libgom-1.0-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgom-1.0-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgom-1.0-common *
You will get with libgom-1.0-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
